‘The Voice’ News Roundup: Have You Heard The New Singles Yet?!

I know you’re all excited about Season 3 of The Voice – but did you know that there’s new music out from several artists from Season 2 right now, too? Several folks have been busy:

  • Today is a great day for Team Adam’s Pip, because it’s release day for his first post-show single, “Who Cares.” You can download it on iTunes here. “Who Cares” is the first song off Pip’s upcoming album No Formalities, which Voice fans helped fund through Kickstarter after Season 2.  Stay tuned for my interview with Pip about the single and his future plans coming later this week!
  • Last week, Team Cee Lo’s Cheesa put out her first post-show track, “I’m Not Perfect,” featuring Charice. You can get that at iTunes over here.
  • And Team Christina’s Moses Stone has a new song out, “So Bad,” which can be picked up on Chirpify (through Twitter) here. It’ll be on iTunes sometime this week.

In other news, coach Adam Levine let slip something awesome during last night’s show: that he signed his Season 2 finalist, Tony Lucca, to his 222 Records label. Congratulations, Tony! Tony is currently on the road with his “Chapter Two” tour; you can check out his upcoming tour dates on the Concert Calendar and read my exclusive interview with Tony from The Grove Los Angeles. Other artists on the road right now include Pip, Team Christina’s Lindsey Pavao, and Team Adam’s Karla Davis.

And congrats to Blake Shelton for his recently-announced CMA nominations, as well as to The Voice host Carson Daly, who became a father again this week. Something tells me Carson is probably “the cool dad.”

If you missed any of last night’s action, here’s my full recap and review of Season 3 Blind Auditions, Part 1. The competition continues tonight at 8 PM ET/PT on NBC.
