  1. wait, they’re still doing the knockouts??? Last season they did them because the teams got waaaay too big, so why are they doing them again? weren’t they going to do smaller teams this year???
I liked the knockouts last season (though they were awkward as hell), but they seem pretty pointless if you’re working with smaller teams :S

    1. Yep. I’m just guessing at how long they’ll be, but Knockouts are definitely in. The press release I got the info from specifically mentions the Knockouts. As for the smaller teams thing, well…I’d say but I signed a confidentiality agreement and I don’t know if that would qualify as a spoiler.

Judging from the first episode though this should be a great season if they get the talent. The new coaches fit right in IMO, at least so far.

    2. I’m pretty sure I read that (according to Adam) the teams were back to 12. After Battle Rounds, they’re at 6 plus however many saves they get (2 again?). So the Knockouts might take the teams from 8 to 4 and the “Top 12” show could take the 16 total singers down to 12. Just a guess.
